Zorro
Zorro is a fictional character created in 1919. The character has been featured in numerous books, films, television series, and other media. Zorro, who is often called Señor or El Zorro is the secret identity of Don Diego de la Vega, a nobleman and Master living in the Spanish colonial era of California.
Many changes have occurred through the years, but he is recognised most as a black-clad masked outlaw. He is the defender of people against tyranny and villains, an agile acrobat, a skilled horseman and a master swordsman, Zorro uses his bullwhip to glide through the air. With capable helpers along the way, acting as his spies and doubles to reinforce his charade, Zorro was feared by all who crossed him.
With Fox proceeding with its Zorro movie, a TV series in Paris due for broadcast in late 2012 and with a successful musical production touring the world, returning to London’s West End in 2013, Zorro’s appeal has never be so strong. With the success of the musical and the wealth of material available from the classic Zorro Archives LMI is delighted to be handling the Licensing Programme. Please contact us for more information.
