Sidney’s art is bold, striking, and transcends age and genre. His technique is truly unique. He starts with a black and white image and a piece of plywood. Following some exacting measurements and a bit of Maurer’s magic, he then bombards the image with his mix of crayon, acrylics, watercolour, varnish, dyes etc. - simply anything that moves him to yield a rendering that does justice to the subject.
